We’re addressing this concentration gap by moving, from mechanical shifting to molecular harvesting.

Electronic waste, Acid Mine Drainage (AMD), coal ash, and metal-rich soils contain more than enough critical minerals to supply chain demands. However, these minerals are dispersed throughout the soil and are not economically viable to traditionally mine.

Using our technology, Deep Root is bio-fortifying ordinary plants to be miners of critical minerals. Plant roots provide access and storage capacity for metal-capturing biomolecules.
